Meet the Doctor

Dr. Delaram Molkara

Dr. Delaram Molkara was born and raised in Iran.  She attended Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, one of the top ranked medical schools in Tehran where she received her MD in 1999.  After pediatrics residency in Wisconsin, she trained in Pediatric Cardiology at University of California, San Diego. She is board certified in pediatric cardiology, and is a former Associate Professor at UCSD and Rady Children’s Hospital, bringing years of experience and knowledge of treating children with congenital heart disease.

Dr. Molkara has experience caring for all patients with Pediatric Cardiology concerns, with particular interest in Fetal Cardiology, Preventive Cardiology, patients with complex congenital heart disease, murmurs, chest pain, palpitations and syncope.  She has numerous publications in the Pediatric Cardiology literature.
